I've talked myself into a circle and may just have to take my words back and put my foot in my mouth. Ignore me for now.

The definition of "engine load" seems to be the crux of the issue. I'm starting to feel that it is an outdated, nebulous term with no real definition. It seems to most closely describe cylinder filling or maybe just torque? It isn't clear to me what it means anymore, but I can't argue one way or another about it without a good definition. And if it does describe cylinder filling or torque, then "MAF load" isn't such a horrible name as long as "MAF load" refers to an estimation of load using MAF combined with RPM or similar, not just straight MAF data.

Sorry to start such ruckus. I used "MAF Load" to let people know that is the value i was referring to in the Nismotronic SA.

Just to clarify, how is MAF load calculated? Or is it just based off of MAF V? Looking at the logs it seems to correlate to MAF V but not 100%. MAF V can go up and MAF Load can go down.

If 'MAF Load' is nothing but a replacement definition for 'TP' then it's calculated as:

TP= ((VQ*K/(RPM*256/50))/Cylinders

This is assuming 'VQ' and 'K-Value' are the same in Nismotronics

I talk about this with Vadim in this thread:

I know this is a pretty old thread, but it wasn't brought to my attention.

Here is an explanation of how MAF load and how the values in the table are used.

NismoTronicSA Help - FUEL TABLES Tab

I highly suggest reading through the TunerCodeSA Firmware section of the Help section. It can be a little overwhelming at first, but after a few reads you can see exactly how everything is calculated and applied for all of the functions.

I have read through sections as i needed clarification, but i should go back and read the whole thing. I love learning about this and would like to know the whole story as well. The car is running great now that i sorted out the load scale. Once my K member bushings are installed i need to schedule some dyno time to get it dialed in.

John, you are always a great help, and of course you and Dave have a great product that we can really benefit from. Thank you.
