Did any of the pins bend when you took them out or put them back in?

How long did they sit out of an ECU and did they get knocked around at all?

The daughterboard isn't tied to any specific tune or anything, so you should be able to use any chip combination that you want as long as both chips are programmed with the same tune on both and installed correctly.

Static electricity can corrupt the program stored on the chip, or worse, damage the chip permanently.
Nismotronic is a program that runs on a PC for tuning, and has absolutely nothing to do with your chip problem.

I can forward you an extra set of chips if you would like. You are also welcome to send up the two that you have and I can see if I am able to pull the bin file off of them to transfer them over to the new set.

Send me a pm if if this is something you would want to do.
