Injector Dynamics Users: Post up
Who here uses any of the ID1000cc or 2200cc injectors with a large MAF/TB?

Specifically on a stock (Nistune/Calum style) ECU.

Having a few part throttle/decel issues with the new setup that has me baffled.

Just wanted to see who has run them in the past.

Check out the TTP Min and "Decel Fuel Reduction Tables" in TunerCode.

If you have already done so, then sorry can't help you any more since I haven't used my OBDI ECU yet.

Its labeled a bit different in Nistune but thats exactly where I have been adjusting.

I am wondering if the voltage drop on decel and low RPM is causing an offset in Latency, making the car go very rich. Running a rear mounted KA24de ALT and im not sure if the pulley is larger than the S13 SR alt. There is a offset setting but it does not affect anything.

I noticed a difference in the transition with TTP min/max between JWT and Calum. I will get some screenshots of each to post.

The car also has a Aeromotive stealth in tank and Aeromitive Tsunami in-line.

I have used them on a few cars so far with GREAT results.

What do you have your injector voltage offset and latency set to and what base fuel pressure are you using?

Another shot in the dark, you got your Injector Latency lowered to those huge injectors too right?

Just for reference.

1090-1160 for a Latency during the runs, 104 for injector voltage offset (no meaningful value associated with this field) 44psi base (vac off)

WOT is perfectly fine. Tip in is nice and smooth and under boost it sits at a solid 11.8 AFR. Once off the throttle it shoots rich and stumbles. Then clears itself and idles.

The Latency or dead time varies with Injector brand not the size. These injectors have a higher latency than all Nissan side feed injectors. They idle alot smoother than the precision 1000s and 1600's I have used in the past.

I am assuming you have the bov recirculated or have a blow through maf setup?

If not, sounds like either the BOV is not doing it's job or you should have it recirculated.

Does your idle dip below 700rpm too by any chance?

Recirculated. Ill put it on the dyno tonight and see what the BOV does.

Its weird. Even cruising steady throttle.

I am going to log a pull/cruise on the street tonight. I am curious to see what the Batt voltage is doing while cruising at low RPMs.
