Dude Lions park in Temple. Not far from Little river drag, Big park with decent parking. But then again, Waco is dead in between Austin and DFW. We have a couple of decent spots that could hold 50+ cars if needed and Prairie Hill is only 25 minutes out of Waco. Still only a drag strip though.

it is a good park, i've been there.. but like you said it's pretty empty.. I would also suggest San Marcos, plenty of big places, and parks, and good food.. Everyone chime in.. So far
