Thread: Texas "the DASH" annual meet?

I managed a team for about 3 years, so organizing events is kinda my thing lol.. I just always wanted to get the forum guys together.. especially since there's no more serca

Aight.. here's the choices.. i have so far:
1. Random place aka : park (like beating the people to a spot), parking lot, and go eat or race
2. Set up at a Restaurant, rec center, or park (actually seperate a space) then either bring food, cook, or go out to eat.. then race..

Race:
Sanantonioraceway - drag
Spokes - autox (only on certain sundays)
Temple dragway - drag
all the tracks are a little too expensive like The Driveway, and Harris Hill Road

any suggestions.. so i can start making phone calls and such

Maybe make a deal with Driveway? I know their expensive like $300 for the first session before getting to the track. We could try river city raceway out by new braunfels. But yeah man, sounds like a plan to me.

Im willing to pay like $50-$100 for a track session. Ill have money saved by then lmao

well, as far as i know.. a "day" of track time limited to 100 cars and 8 hours of track is about 2800 plus whatever insurance is.. yeah the driveway is awesome.. long straight ways, lots of twisties, elevation changes, and corkscrew.

let me call them up and see what i deal we can strike up..

for food, well, i know a good philipino restaurant, we can always cook it up, or hit some restaurant.. people chime in here..
