Lol wow.
I honestly didn't even know it was ever that way.

Oh yeah, the good ol' days. Bench seats too, so you didn't have to climb in the back to get 'er done! The internets tell me that the last US passenger vehicle to feature a floor mounted high beam switch was the '91 Ford F series trucks. Strangely enough the internet also says the Ford F series was the last to have a column mount manual shifter, circa 1986. That also had a bench seat. Sorry, way off topic. My adult ADD is kicking in....

Now back to B13 power windows!

i like that look for the b14 switches on the door, but i have always wondered what it would be like to have power window switched on the center console!

Reviving an old post, I am in the process of power windowing my B13 SE-R. Here's some photos for now. I'll do a quick write-up once it's complete. Switches are going in the center parking brake cover.

My first thought is added weight to the door that is known to sag.

So remove the belts from the door, weight removed, and adding the glass and motor. Is the weight a wash?

You're over thinking things Beavis! ;-)

We're talking a pound at most and it's located less than a foot from the hinge so minimal leverage.

I would hope so because all them saggy doors and replaced hinges from leagues of B13 owners was the only reason I had to bring it up.

I prefer window cranks but I know you will do this correct.
