These would be cake to cut with a laser cutter. The only trick would be finding a good material of the correct thickness.

I've considered taking stock ones, doing vector art of them and cutting from vinyl, and that would allow a huge range of colors & specialty finishes (I have some sick looking "brushed stainless" vinyl), but it wouldn't give the depth of the stock lettering.

Depending on overall interest and what materials would be useable, I can look into producing some (I have access to a laser cutter as well as a vinyl cutter).

There is some 1/8" silver/gray acrylic sheet out there. Wonder if that'd be too thick.

I dunno but I will continue to host the large resolution 6599 x 5099 pixel photo until I can help it so!

You need to do this with oem JDM Sunny GT-S emblems.

I have thought of making some custom emblems for my Limited Edition. Such as LE-R, or GT-C (GT-"coupe" instead of GT-"sedan" aka GT-S).

Not to thread jack or anything. Make these out of Romark. It's the material used for tactile lettering in signage. Comes in a world of colors and finishes, varying thickness starting at 1/16" and up, comes pre-laminated with 3M vhb tape on the back, and can be cut on an engraver or cnc. Oh and it's also relatively inexpensive (a 2'x4' sheet is usually around $50) .

Nice find. Rowland is the manufacturer, ADA is the product name. Looks like they go down to 1/32" for some colors even. Got a good source for buying from?

All we need is a brand new black set, and we can get to manufacturing some seriously bad-ass emblems.
