That's kind of how I feel about it. I take it you track your car Kyle?

Looks great! Mind sharing pictures of how you mounted your rear endlinks? I had trouble installing mine and apparently they sent me the wrong ones but want to sell me the correct set ($30 which isn’t much but I’d rather put it towards a progress sway instead) enjoy them! I’ve had them for about a month or two and love driving on them.

Funny you mention that. I could not run mine either. The collar for the rear end link was hitting my tire, it could have been because I was running too much camber. I have yet to have time to mess with it some more, hopefully this weekend I can figure something out. But I will keep you posted.

Yeah I had a similar issue. The only way I could see the coils work with the stock sway bar (or at least the mounting points) is using the next size down from the ones I got which are 203mm when fully shortened if I remember correctly. The next step down that they carry is 135mm and can extend to be about 203mm.

The other option is going with a progress or similar sway bar which relocates the mounting points. I’m probably going to go down this route over the spring.

Yeah it makes sense to just go ahead and upgrade the rear sway bar, might as well do the front too!

Well that was my initial thought when I concluded I should just get an aftermarket rear sway. Unfortunately I don’t think I would benefit much from a front sway bar. As mentioned earlier in this thread, I recently started autocross it and was suggested to leave the front sway stock while upgrading the rear.

By leaving the front sway stock (and keeping or at least starting off on the softer setting on the dampers) the front end of the car should theoretically be able to dip into a corner (with I’m guessing just enough oversteer?) while the rear end is able to follow inline having the rear sway upgrade and dampers set closer to the firm side.

I’m hoping someone with more Autocross knowledge sees this post and can guide me away or towards how I’m understanding I should have the car setup. Obviously there is no such setting I can use to get me faster other than more seat time in general. Perhaps fender braces and rear sway would be a better idea than upgrading bother front and rear sways?

I can see how that could be beneficial. I hope you can get some good info on this, I wouldn't mind knowing as well. I won't be autocrossing my car but instead running it at the local road course but any information is food for thought.

Hope you find this useful (I did, although a link or two along with available items could use a refresher)
B13, B14, B15 Suspension Information...

Shortcut to the deadend link in the thread with information you were asking for:

Thanks for the links! I remember scanning over the suspension thread on this forum, but the other link was nice to see how the other style of sway bar mounts for the rear. I've still gotta buy wheels/tires before I can really start to drive my car aggressively. Hopefully beginning of next year.

No problem man.

I was thinking the same thing (waiting to get better wheels and tires) but I’ve been encouraged by many experienced drivers to do the opposite. The reason behind that is because you want to seriously get to learn yourself as a driver before modification. I know this is painful for some of us who have been struck by the ‘Mod Bug’ but driving your car as it stands would really make a difference in the long run.

So this is what I plan on doing and would encourage you and others do the same (willing to have my plan if given enough reasoning other than some mods are cheap)

I’m driving the car this upcoming season on my current setup which is b14 ser wheels which are 15x6.5 (and heavy AF) with a set of 205/50/15 Nitto Neogens. I may even ride on them the following season depending how the tires look at the end (not sure how many events I’m going to actually be able to attend although I plan on making it out to as many as possible). From there I’m going to keep the same wheels and replace the tires with a good summer set (not considering RE71r just yet but something between those and the neogens) then when I run through those I’ll consider either RE71r with the same wheels or a 15x7.5ish wheel. Wouldn’t even be bad to see how they handle on the stock 6.5s before getting wider wheels.

The point is to learn where my hiccups are and better my driving before adding anything that will enhance my driving. Mods can make a car quicker but a better driver will make it even faster.

Thoughts? (Sorry this went off topic kinda lol)
