Running 14 inch rims on RR 200sx with AD22VF. Anyone do this?
I have a road race 200sx. I also have a set of nearly brand new 14 inch Falkens that I'd like to use (they were on my 323 that I sold last year; buyer didn't want them, was a rally car). I tried to test fit a set of VW rims with high positive offset and they rubbed on the suspension even with a spacer. Anyone here fitting 14 on this setup and if so, what are the offset/backspace measurements that work? BTW, I bought the car with doughnuts on the front to roll it around. One was a 14 and it cleared.

I'm old school, no need to run a bigger tire than you have to; saves weight.

I used to have stock 14" se-R b13 wheels with AD22VF but shaved a little off the AD22vf to fit them and the stock nx2000 14s clear but I have no idea on aftermarket since I've always gone 15s in more recent years and because of the abundance of 205 50 15 tires available.

Stock 15" 200sx SE-R wheels fit just fine btw

while 205 55 14s are few and far between (at least around here that's the case)

stock nx2000 wheels or nx2000 spare donuts will definately clear nx are 14x6.5 and pretty strong ...in fact they came OEM on the GTiR rally bred cars,so I bet they are strong also

Never tried this, never really wanted to try this. Far more tire options with 15s, and the OEM B14 wheels are fairly easy to come by. I doubt the weight difference is significant, would be surprised if it's more than 1.5 lbs per wheel.
