First Time Racing With Nasa AZ
Well, I finally was able to get on a track that was more than Auto-X. Definitely had some fun, but I definitely have a lot to learn still! Engine held up awesome, brake pads not so much (Hawk HP+). I overheated the crap out of them in the beginning, so I had to keep braking early to not heat them too much on the main straight, which killed some time for sure. The Dunlops did surprisingly well all considering, definitely no R-Comp though, lol. Can't wait to get back out there next month!

Let me know what you think, definitely noob status here!

Welcome to your new addiction. NASA Has a great HPDE program that lets you advance all the way to TT and w2w racing. Don't rush to get out of HPDE1 and utilize your instructor to learn as much as possible and then get all the seat time you can!

Ha ha, yeah, I already signed up for next month's event!

And they bumped me to HPDE2 the first day, (I didn't ask), but I'm sure I'll be there for a bit before moving on to 3.

I don't know the track, so I can't comment much there. It is nice to see that you don't have any of the typical newb habits. Keep having fun out there!
