The coolant tanks are a cheap plastic from the factory and desperately need help.
So we have developed a coolant tank that is sheet metal bent and then fully TIG welded. The bends are done by a professional company so the bends are crisp and tight. The fittings are all anodized blue for a clean look.
Not only does this tank look better but it holes 2x what the stock unit holds.
We will be selling these for $119.00 UNcoated or $140 coated for a limited time.
You can add different options on the site like a fluid level, coating etc..

Actually, they are plastic, but not cheap.
I bought a new Nissan-OEM unit from Greg V when I restored my Classic.
$68.00 for that stupid
plastic bottle. And that was a Greg V price, I know they'd be more expensive at your local Nissan dealer.
Then the bodyshop made a mistake, and moved the plastic POS bottle aside to work in that corner of the bay. Setting the bottle on top of the....SSAC header. Which melted right through the plastic, duh. Currently the $68.00 bottle is patched and awaiting replacement. I got my money back on the bottle from the body-shop (and a sincere apology).
$68.00 for more Nissan suckage, or basically double that for a much, much, much, better (coated) unit from you guys? That is a no-brainer on my end.
Got to discuss with Wifey, add this to my "list" of items to address.
