New Blue egg

Ok, so I finally had time to go through it.

Oil Good
Power steering Fluid Good
Brake fluid Good
Coolant Good
Spark Plug Wiring Fixed
Battery Bad

After going over all that I said F#$& It and turned it over with a jump pack. Did not want to turn over, but once it got going it started rough. No Lights on the dash!!! All the lights work, except passenger side fog. Still has center cover in perfect shape. Still has original tape deck. I found a Nissan OEM NX 2000 decal for the back. This even has ABS.

Took it for a trip down my road and lost brake pedal! Well, it will need rear brake lines. This will be good for this winter. But the rust underneath is out of control, sad because the interior loogs in good shape. Needs to be cleaned and all the fluids changed. I might just do a quick swap with the JDM SR20 I have. But, when I do part this thing out there are a lot of good parts. Some I might want to hold on to, like CC.

When/if you part it out, I might want the power window motors and switches. And i'd definitely take that lower front spoiler if it looks as good as it's pictured. Just keep me in the loop though. Thanks!

P.s. does it have front mud flaps? Hard to tell in the picture. LMK!

When, I do part it out, you have first dibs on the power window stuff. The mud flaps I think are just rubber screwed on there. I will check and post some pics. I have yet to own one with OEM mud flaps.

Sounds good to me!

And that is a nice example by the way! Rust or not, you don't find them that clean looking here in Hawaii, if you even find them at all.

So, last week got the brake lines to the rear, replaced. I hate brake lines! But, they are done!!
Still was running like shit and the muffler is shot. I drove it to work (80 miles round trip) twice. The suspension is in better shape then it looks. ABS light is on and the brake pedal is softer then I like. Not sure if it has something to do with the ABS (my first ABS NX).
I pulled the injectors yesterday. One was bad. Replaced it and now car is running good. I also patched up exhaust(only has to last the winter). I should be ready for inspection. Next, I will have them put snow tires on a spare set of NX rims I have.

Daughter will be pulling seats and door cards this week to swap with her car. She is getting excited about her car.

Is there a way to find out what is going on with it? If, I cant fix it, I will. If not it will be getting parted out after winter.

I have never liked it so I always remove it if it has issues. too many snsors and parts and crap to fail...by the looks of that rust I would bet its taken its toll on the abs system

Yes it has LOTS of rust. I just need the car to make it through the winter. If, things go right this will be my last winter in NY.
Went to get it inspected and have the snow tires put on and the stupid Headlight Switch would not turn on passenger side high beam, grrrrrrrrr. They also made mention of the "rust" and it was "suggested" I not drive the car for long. But, being I know them it could be over looked, but they dont want to see it back next year. I laughed and told them it wont. So, after going through all my extra parts I found only one headlight switch. Put it in and well the dash lights turn on and off, grrr. Ordered a new one from rockauto. I will be trying to clean contacts tonight. If, I get one of the old ones working right, then I will have a spare new one. They should have used relays.
Today I go back to get inspection done. Dash lights don't matter for inspection.

So, I finally got the inspection to pass after replacing the headlight switch.
Car is running like s#*+ Smells of fuel and I think there is a leak at the goose neck(bad hose clamp, I think). I think it is running rich. Stalls out even when warm. I have to hold the throttle wide open to get it to start. Turns over a few time before it will even start to kick over.
Going to check the maf wiring. There is duct tape on the connector. Was going to do it last night, but I lent my meter to my brother. I will just bring home my work meter(much nicer anyway).
If, anyone else has an idea on what might be going on, post it up.
