Got a new question to throw out there.

What is the best engine mounts?
Like everything everyone out there has their opinions and stories, thus making it harder for people like me to find what's best.
Have read energy suspension is a bit harsh. And prothane was the way to go.
Heard the rubber ones were the best but good luck snagging some of those.
Then there are those that say prothane was harsh as well.

So needless to say I am a bit lost.
They say opinions are like ass holes, everyone has 1. But I am just tired of reading the same shit over and over.

Keep it easy

New OEM passenger side motor mount
Prothanes everywhere else

This way your engine is in solid but you don't get the NVH increase in the cabin.

See, now that is why I ask lol.
No one any where said anything remotely similar to that.
And it sounds the most logical.

Where do y'all get your oem mounts?

from softest to hardest...keep in mind that the 1.6 would be fine on stock mounts,or even just run OEM sides and upgrade the rear and dogbone.
1. OEM(some people use 3m windowweld to fill the voids as a cheap solution. However ,that is 25 bucks a tube and messy and does not last forever.I have had decent luck over the years ,but only on low powered cars(1.6,or maybe stock sr20.)I would not do this to any car that is driven hard or has much more power than stock.
2. OEM with ES inserts. These go in to fill the voids in the stock mounts and you dont need to remove the old and press in the new. This is the easiest to do ,and has the least amount of vibration aside from above.
3. Nismo/JWT are solid rubber and require removal of old,and pressing them in .These are the ones that are discontinued, and hard to find, and usually pricey if the person knows what they are. The dogbone mount by Nismo/JWT is crap,so if you are gonna go that route, just get the 3 round ones, and toss the dogbone..lol
4.Prothane inserts.Hardest, most vibration, and also need to be pressed in.I personally think its overkill to have prothanes on a 1.6,but thats a matter of choice. The 1.6 engine is so smooth ,I prefer to keep the vibration down to keep the comfort of the car.

Theres also Place Racing Mounts, which are not made anymore either.I have had these too.The whole mount gets replaced as a unit as they are not inserts but bolt on replacement as a unit.
The look like a old rollerskate wheel(if you are old enough to know what that is,haha)From my experience they seem to be a little harder than ES,or JWT/Nismo... but softer than prothane.

Thats about all the info you need, unless someone has something to add.
Good luck...If I had your car,I would do stock pass, and trans...with ES front and rear and call it a day.Easy ,cheap, and still a good upgrade from stock.

Well by the sounds of it ES would be good enough then.
Want the smoothness with little to no vibration. Got enough vibration anyways due to probably at least 1 being bad already (in Park it's fine but when sitting in traffic it has vibration).
Got better advice here already compared to all the reading I have done.
Thanks eggman & Sentraga

Ok, looking into how many mounts there are I am getting conflicting information. Some say 3, some say 4.
Which is it?

Here's a good example of this though on Ebay and sellers tend to not pay much attention to the info they put up:
3 piece (2 engine, 1 trans) says 1991-1993 1.6 auto- Engine Motor Trans Mount Set 3pcs for 91 93 Nissan NX 1 6L for Auto Trans | eBay
----then this one----
4 piece (3 engine, 1 trans) says 1991-1993 1.6 auto- Engine Motor Trans Mount Set 4pcs for 1991 1993 Nissan NX 1 6L Auto Trans | eBay

Also has anyone used this brand/type motor mount before? If so, your review please?
Says they're High Quality Rubber & Built To O.E. Specification.

My Nx is a 1.6 auto

ETA:
other sites I go to (like this one: http://www.aftermarketsuspensionparts.com/proddetail.asp?prod=141901)
says "Manual Transmission Models Only". I would like to know the difference?

3 piece

4 piece one has a trans mount that our cars don't use. But I don't know if could fit out cars.

Difference between auto and manual trans mount is one is longer than the other, but the bushings(rubber part) is the same.

Bringing over a little info from my rides thread.

Sentraga said there - Offset we try to stay around +30

I was wondering what the offset is on the stock rims?
Tried looking it up, somewhere someone mentioned it was +40 on the stock 14" rims but I only seen it mentioned there and I would like to verify/disprove this information?
Also what is the maximum offset & minimum offset that'll fit our cars without any modifications (spacers, fender roll, etc.)?
Prefer my rims to be at least flush with my fenders, no innies and no way outies lol.

Just trying to open up all my options as it's very slim pickin's here even on craigslist.
Thanks again guys

Also hub size?

Like I said just trying to open up my options (as cheaply as possible) so I can get off these 17's asap.
