Use GM Evap pressure sensor as Map sensor?
Can I use a GM Evap Pressure Sensor # 16238399 as a Map Sensor? Also Is it 1 Bar? 1 Bar is all I want, as I'm just n/a

If it has a 0-5V output, yes.

How cheap can you get it?

It looks pretty strange,

Might be hard to get a vac hose hooked up to it. You got pigtails for it too I suppose?

I was not able to find detailed specs on this sensor, so have no idea what it's response rate or operating range for measuring air pressure are. I advise using a MAP sensor, just to be sure.

GM 3 bar Map sensors are less than $40 shipped from Ebay for an OEM version with pigtail or less than $20 shipped for a knock-off version with a pigtail.

I would recommend one of those. I bought one (OEM) for Can2kx a while back and I am currently using one on my build

Or you can hop over to Honda-tech and grab a used one for $30.

I only want a 1 Bar sensor. I'm just n/a and it will not see a turbo. I want to have the best resolution I can get.

The evap pressure sensor probably uses the same scale but I do not have the pigtail yet. I do have access to a B series map sensor and pigtail for free from a CRV. I will probably use this as the free GM 1 bar sensor and pigtail I got for free also will work fine but its from a mid 90's Saturn. I'd rather use what's newer and easier to setup (can just pick from a dropdown menu).

I had found out there's a ton of different GM 1 bar sensors and all uses slightly different data. So maybe the Honda map sensor will be easier.

GM makes a 1 bar sensor for the GTO. That is what I am using and it works great.

Go to junkyard or parking lot. All 90's honda, some toyota have 1 bar map sensor.
