New member from Lakewood, Colorado
Just introducing myself. I live in Lakewood, Colorado. I was in the Navy for a few years and was stationed in Japan and Hawaii for a while. I've had a few turboed vehicles over the years (1987 Toyota Turbo Truck 4x4, 2004.5 Audi A4 USP, 1986 Porsche 944 Turbo, all stock 1990 Skyline GTS-4). This is my first venture into actually having a custom Nissan Sentra with the SR20DET.

So, anyways I recently picked up the black 1992 Sentra GTi-R that was built by "B13 GTiR" 10 years ago. I am planning on fixing A LOT of the issues that this car has and restoring her to her full glory. She is ragged out and in need of some serious rehab.

And for everyone in the Denver/ Lakewood/ and surrounding areas PLEASE STOP TEXTING AND CALLING THE PREVIOUS OWNER AND ASKING HIM IF THE CAR HAD BEEN STOLEN. I bought it from him and will be driving it a lot around town.

Good buy and welcome to the forum.

Not sure I would keep calling it a Sentra GTi-R.
Is it AWD?

It isn't AWD (yet?) but that is the moniker that this car is known by. Just google "Sentra GTIR" and there a lot of pictures of this particular car. I'm debating deleting the GTi-R badges when I repaint her. I do need to get the proper GTi-R front bumper though.

Thanks, the car is going to be a project for sure but she will still be running around as much as possible. I am planning a repaint soon (hopefully) and trying to get it retuned for regular gas as she is currently tuned for E85 and there is only one gas station remotely close that has E85.

That's funny but not necessarily a bad thing.

Slow going so far. Mainly getting her running properly before I post more about her restoration. Just got a new clutch and shifter installed because the old throw out bearing was dying.
