New(ish) B13 owner
Hi all,

I joined a while ago after picking up my first B13, a black 91. I just never got around to posting. This is my first Sentra, but not my first SR20 car. I had an S13 hatch with an S13 Blacktop from 02-10. I had a super POS P10 for a few months in 2014-15, but sold it prior to moving to LA. I also own a 71 PL510. Prior to the B13, I had a 5 speed 97 A32 that my parents bought new off the lot, but LA to OC/Oxnard/Ladera Ranch killed it. I'm back in the Bay Area now.

While in LA, I found my car up in Santa Barbara. It is higher mileage than I was looking for, I got it at 200k, but it was the original owner. He kept all the records (I mean all of them going back to 91) and the car was bone stock. In 1998, he had OEM A/C added, it is SO COLD. I've been battling a CEL code 32. I plan to pull the EGR and clean it and see how that helps. I already solved the knock sensor code. The original owner was a deaf gentleman, so he never upgraded the stereo. I'm actually reluctant to remove the tape deck because it's so retro. Unfortunately, the sunroof leaks, so the headliner is a little ratty. The sunroof motor also gave out, so I have to pull the liner in the near future. He did buy the Borla exhaust through the dealer, I've got the receipt. The dash is also cracked and peeling. He had the car serviced at the dealership for all those years too.

So far, I've done a few things:
added Tsuru center console and Tsuru floor mats
Whiteline strut bar
K&N intake (I wanted the CARB sticker)
Koyo V-core radiator with silicone hoses (the back two blew as soon as I made the change, so the back is now G-Spec'ed)
Falken Azenis on my 14"
Steel brake lines all around (orig owner only did the front)
Stoptech rotors all around

Plans in immediate future:
Bushings. I've got whiteline for almost all, with superpro radius rod and an ES steering rack bush. Only one I don't plan on doing is the rear radius rod bush in the knuckle. I've got all new OEM bolts for the radius rod and parallel links too. Those bolts have not been turned since 1991.
Suspension. I picked up Progress coils from a member here.
Rear sway bar - whiteline that I picked up off of here. Keeping the front stock for now with Whiteline bushes.
While the arms are off, I'm also doing ball joints.
Followed by an alignment. The bolts for the front parallel links are cammed, so the car won't drive straight. I also want to make the Azenis last.

Plans in the next few months:
Clutch. The TOB is rattling, and I have a 109-tooth fidanza from a member here. Because I don't plan on upping the HP, I'll stick to an organic clutch - probably Exedy.
Code 32.
Sunroof. Redo headliner.
Replace dash at some point.

My overall plans are to keep it relatively stock and maintain it. I don't want to do a swap, as I got tired of the hassle with my DET. I also have the 510, which is running, but I haven't started working on it. I want to SR20 it, ideally DET, but more likely DE.

Random B13 in the PI.

You can always keep the stock take deck and add bluetooth to it with this. It came with my '99 G20 and I have already bought several more for other cars. Works pretty good, battery last for about 2 tanks of gas. It also has a mic for hand free driving. They are about $20 on Amazon.
