Thank you

So I took my mirrors to school on Tuesday. Today I finished them and they turned out pretty good. I didn't really take pictures before I did it, although I did take some pictures of the driver side one(which was actually the one that already looked pretty good anyway.) This was when I was trying to see if I could avoid painting them and just buff and polish them. The driver side ended up looking really good, but the passenger one, which I didn't take a picture of didn't look as good so I ended up painting both of them.

My doors without the mirrors in them, the driver's side has a little bit of rust I found that I will fix soon probably:

And here's what the mirrors ended up looking like painted, I will take better pictures of them if it is brighter outside tomorrow, it was a little bit too dark to get a really good picture.
Driver side:

Passenger side:

And here are some of the chips on the passenger mirror that were in the actual material and I couldn't get out easily, but at least I was able to get them the right color instead of just black:

While it was still kind of bright, I did hold it up to a clean part of the hood and the color is a pretty good match. I did see that the color is slightly darker, but the original mirrors were actually slightly darker anyway. When I was spraying the base coat I could tell that it was very close to the color of the original mirror and looks pretty close to right. They are very glossy though, due to a fresh coat of clearcoat, and my car really needs to be cleaned before that will look right on it.

Images aren't showing up for us. I don't think you can use your Google User account to host images the way you're trying to.
I like to recommend www.imgur.com but there are plenty of other free image hosts to use.

Thanks for letting me know! I see what you're talking about when I checked from my brothers computer. That's weird though because the earlier pictures I posted the same way. I'll try to go back through and fix that.

Edit: Just went through and it looks like I fixed it. If you can check and make sure I actually fixed it that would be good. I'm still using google but did it a different way

I put the passenger side one back on today. There are more chips I noticed today than yesterday(probably because it was darker when I was looking at them yesterday), but it still looks better than before I painted it. I'll probably put the driver's side one on soon. I need to do something about that rust before I do though, but the driver's side mirror looks a good bit better than the passenger's side. The paint doesn't have anywhere near as many chips. In the pictures, you can also kind of tell how close the paint is to the rest of the car. I think it's pretty good especially considering I did it away from the car with no blending. In this picture the car is wet a little bit and the car is kinda dirty as well.

Nice update. The paint work looks stellar. Something that is not in my wheelhouse.

Thanks guys. I still gotta do something about that rust so I can put my driver's side mirror back on and be Street legal again. But thanks for the compliments on the paint.
