Basically we want to get the S14 back out and start building an Outlaw FWD B14. We love going fast, but our core business is selling parts for these cars.

I remember that I suggested an outlaw fwd to you guys on Honda-tech a few months back. I'm glad it's finally going to happen!!!

So what would it take to build a 1200hp SR with factory style lubrication system? What trans would you guys run if the outlaw fwd pulls though? This is what I'll be running in my Sfwd Altima when I manage to build it up again..KA24DE 50A trans with PAR 1-4, FD and Quaife ATB diff..

PAR synchro gears will get destroyed like legos with that kind of power. PPG is the way to go. We will more than likely be running the QR trans

Yes that's what alot of guys say about PAR but, I still have not seen a broken PAR set with the size of the gears that I have.. There was a member here that broke a PAR 32V helical set but I think that it happened because the trans case could not handle the power and exploded.. When I first started looking for a dog set for my trans PPG was my first choice but, after trying to talk to those guys I gave up quick they were asking for way too much money and lead time when all they had to do was add a set of teeth for the reverse to the set they already made for the GTI-R so it can work on the fwd trans. I'm not looking to make 1200hp on my motor so I should be ok with mine. I'm curious to know if it's possible to make 1200hp SR with an OEM pump. Has it been done? I see all these Hondas make 1100hp plus with OEM style pumps.Btw my PAR set is dog engagement not sycro mesh..

We made 1000hp with our S14 with a stock oil pump. Never really had a problem with the oil pumps. Even with the front sump and pulling 1.3 60's, never had a problem with oil starvation. It always cost big money to make custom gearsets. We have a few companies willing to make the gears for the Spec-V trans.

I would imagine it being easier for a company dealing with a company than just one individual like myself. I was just curious about the oil pump because it seems like anything over 1000hp on a 4 cylinder Nissan motor most guys go with external pumps and dry sumps. I thought that there was a reason behind that.
