Ben,

NismotronicRT is the tuning software, and NEMU is the realtime daughterboard for TunerCode. Click the NEMU RT Tuning Package in sig. for more info.
Nismotronic is also a forum vendor: Nismotronic Section

Thanks,
Dave

So my next questions would be, what tuning software, firmware, and daughterboards are compatible right now across implementations? Any? Or are they all specific to each other?

I see a whole lotta ecu's on that first post there but no ms3+ms3x listed. oversight or haters?

if oversight i don't mind helping with any needed info

Neither oversight (I know it exists) nor hater (we have MSI and MSII on there don't we?).
"Rome wasn't built in a day" pretty much sums up why it isn't there yet.
I'd love any help you can give toward getting it listed. You know the type of info I need. Hit me with it and I'll get crackin'. Or wait until I get around to doing the research.

We are currently only offering 1 thing now and that is the NEMU Tuning package, compare it to the likes of Hondata S300, where you buy the S300 hardware and you get the smanager software, etc with it.

So there is only one option at this point for NismoTronic and it is the full realtime solution, which includes everything you need to tune the car (hardware, software, firmware) all bundled together.

It supports all of the ECU types that are listed on the product page here.

Let me give it my best try at putting NismoTronic in the list. After that we can deal with any corrects that need to take place.

Ben for Calum ECU's some information is missing.

Calum's Realtime Daughterboard:

Notes:
Calum has reverse engineered the stock ECU and created an emulator for it in the form of a daughterboard.
You get control of ignition and fuel maps, as well as a few other things such as rev limit.
Not a full featured stand-alone, but pretty close. Calum has stopped work on this project.

Licensing:
Hardware is proprietary and closed source.
Firmware is proprietary and closed source.

Installation:
Plug-and-play. Swap your current ECU with the new one. Couldn't be easier.

Communication:
RS232 or USB.

Software Interface:

Needs proper XDF (definition) files

The software used with PLMS/NIStune daughterboards also works with the Calum daughterboard, but is not the original software designed for this product. This is listed as an option, as it is confirmed to work:
NIStune (closed source, requires $171.76 single user license)

Reliability/Known Issues:
Stub.

Cost:
No longer available

Used to cost:
$120 for basic
$375 for OBD2 Real Time (Provide your own ECU)
$350 for OBD2 Real Time (Provide your own ECU)

As for NismoTronic/Nemu:

NismoTronic RT Package:

Notes:
NismoTronic RT Package consists of three main items. NEMU daughter-board, TunerCode Firmware, and NismoTronic RT tuning software.

Dave Dunn completely reversed engineered the OBD1 ECU and defined all of the tunable items and documented it how those tunable items work. This is the closest you can get to a standalone ECU with an OEM ECU.

Licensing:
Hardware is proprietary and closed source.
Firmware is proprietary and closed source.

Installation:

$650.00 with ECU

I just added the NismoTronic RT solution before seeing your post Vadim. I'll take a look at it and make updates accordingly.

Vadim I added the software interface and pricing info for Calum's stuff. I'm almost done with the NismoTronic entry but I'm going to use a bit of your info in it that I didn't have yet.
