Not having the pad contact the whole rotor isn't a total downfall. You still get the higher torque from the increased radius, and more rotor to absorb heat.

Even then, he can always take them to autozone for the core.

Yes, the Maxima rear brake upgrade will clear B14 rims. BARELY. I'll get pics of it today. Be warned, you will need redrilled Maxima rotors.

If anyone is interested in a set of NEW A32 (95-99) Maxima rear calipers for B14 rear upgrade, PM me.

I dont think the cost is offset, I would much rather have a larger caliper/rotor combo.

Anybody ever upgrade their MC? I have a 92 NX2k with ABS and am looking to upgrade mine for better brake feel, along with SS lines.

i have something that might be a no-brainer to most of you..

loaded remanufactured AD22 calipers have pads that will NOT work worth a damn on the track..

I had assumed that the fatter rotor by itself would be enough to reduce fade, but I truly think I would have been better off at the 2010 Convention with OE Nissan AD18 caliper and OE Nissan pads on my B13 Sentra. the $20 pads you can get from a parts store are the kind that come in a loaded set of brake calipers, and they are absolutely horrible.. without a doubt every time I went out, by lap 5 my pads felt like they were teflon coated.. it was scary

That's no surprise, I stepped from Raybestos Gold to BForce Mu to Carbotech AX6's, and every step up was very noticeable. I imagine going to those cheap pads would be a couple steps down... not something I'd want to find out about

According to what I was told, only b13s can use the JDM NX rear rotors. Remember that in this scenario, B13's are using A32 Maxima rear rotors. B14's are running A33's.
