Sorry for re-upping an older thread, but where exactly is this "brace" under the steering wheel? I'm in the process of removing as much weight as possible in my 92 SE-R VVL (all under-carpet tar has been removed, front and back) but I'm now I'm at thatt rubber stuff/thick carpeting underneath the dashboards under the dash.

But where is this brace, and what does it look like? I have all the seat outs and even removed the steering wheel to have access to everything.

Once you pull the plastic cover in front of your knees you'll see it. I can't describe it very well as I haven't actually seen one in 10 years or so lol.

I think mine has already been removed by someone, because I couldn't find it. I even pulled the entire steering wheel off thinking I missed it.

Had a 1/4 tank on a 13 gallon tank that would be 26 pounds full tank should be 104
I weigh 185

Well on a 1/4 tank it weighted 2,220lbs

And I had a sr20de when I weighted

Not I got a vvl n less weight =) =-D

I just put in a Carbon Fiber hood. I had a scale handy and weighed both during the install:

Stock B13 hood: 38lbs

Carbon Fiber hood w/ attachments and cotter pins: 18.5lbs.

So there's a nice saving of about 20lbs.
