Nx2000 power windows not working
So on this rainy dreary day with the Chupacabra in the carport & not much room to really work on it much. We started looking into the passenger side window (since it's the only door we can fully open under the carport) & why the windows won't work.
Looked everything over and it's all connected, fuse looked good but changed it out for a similar one too, looked in the door jam area and it was bent some so unbent it, looked at the motor and it's greased up. Turned on the ignition switch and hit the buttons (both sides- driver & passenger) and nothing... no noise of any kind.

So I am wondering what could possibly be my problem?
And if it happens to be motors (think it'd be odd that both are out though but ) what other motors will work?

Not hearing any noise from either side when window buttons are hit.

On a sorta positive note- I found an original key for the Chupacabra, the PO gave me some weird copy.

I don't have a FSM handy to check wiring diagrams, but I know on some cars if the passenger switch is bad, the driver's one won't work, and vice versa. You should be able to unplug the motor and check for 12v when operating either switch, if nothing, then your issue is upstream. If neither side is working, I'm guessing that the switch module on the driver's side door is going to be the culprit. Possibly that side isn't getting 12v power for some reason?

Get you an FSM Les! In my experience, 7.2 times out of 10 it's gonna be the regulator but like Jim mentioned there's some basic things you can do to narrow down your search...checking voltage is the first step. Pull the door panel and stick your face up in there...plastic pieces where the cable glides are prone to breaking...pull the motor and put some voltage to it...FSM...
