how many amps do the solenoids pull? because the switch can handle 3amps.

...a relay is not a bad Idea though . I may do that eventually ...I was actually putting my new fuel pump in on a dedicated relay today

I went over this with another forum member about a year ago thinking 3 amps would be fine because the internets said about 2.8 amps. Turned out having vvl breakup due to the window switch. Just something to keep in mind.

That switch should be able to tap the coil also if I recall my ga16de vct mod correctly.

The instruction say specifically NOT to hook to the coil but who knows. I like it in the cabin in reach/sight anyway.
It would be nice to have a decent small switch with built in relays for this

this x2, you need relays for sure with this one


Eggman, I've burned up one of these before trying to pull straight through it with no relay
