if I were in your position and needed more amperage than the stock system was designed for, I would replace the stock fusible link with a circuit breaker rated at the maximum output of the new alternator.

Yeah, that might be the way to go. I was planning on sticking with the stock alt but I guess the extra capacity from a B15 wouldn't hurt at all. Plus I can find 100 amp circuit breakers all day long...

Could you get something like this to work? This is from a Titan and are only $20.00.

I saw that, but I wasn't sure how replaceable those fusible links are. I ended up going with this: Amazon.com: Bussmann Hi-Amp Reset Circuit Breaker - 100 Amps: Automotive
