ITB 12.5 VVL on p28 Honda
the swap is on my 83 Sentra I'm doin it just to go MAP cheap and have my ITBs no one going to see the computer.... My questions are what wires are going to be deleted, what should I look out for during this process? also I can't find nothing about the wiring for the distributor?? more important what sensors am I going to need I have a Honda friend that's going to help me but I don't want to be lost I have both pin outs for the computers OBD1 93 nx2000 and OBD1 civic now if I'm wrong on anything besides the dumbest thing I've ever thought about and the disrespect please correct me....
is this goin to be easy and pretty straight forward or could I run into any problems???

VVL 87mm 12.5 CP and Manley rods
ITBs

Sounds like it would be easier to run nismotronic or some kinda standalone then it would be to make a honda ecu control it.. I know someone did it before but haven't seen anyone else do it.

Not that I condone doing this but im sure its rather easy. Just match up the wires that you will actually need. I'm not sure if the IACV uses the same internals as a Nissan but just match up coolant temp, map, o2 sensor, distributor (crank signal) etc... etc...

dont forget honda engines spin backwards compared to our engines so that might factor in somewhere.

I was looking at both pin outs and it looks pretty easy I guess the rest I just add the map sensor the other thing that has me wondering is the vvl and Hondas vtec activator

sooo about the spinning backwards is that really going to be a problem or just a firing order

This has been done put the guy used Honda sensors and a Honda distributer. He ran the Honda ecu becauSe at the time we did not have a good low cost map capable ems for our cars. Nismotronic has changed that, you will spend more $ on the Honda ecu and have more head aches. Contact jk tuning about running the nismotronic Nemu on map only. The nice thing is jk tuning is also a Honda tuning wizkid so you will be covered no matter what you end up with. Good luck

Yet another shameless nismotronic plug by me.

Kudos. Always thought this was the way to go as there are limited options for our boards.

Instead of doing a Honda conversion, get a standalone made. Megasquirt II would be perfect for you. Contact @shagspeed
