Same thing happened on mine - buddy turns on duracool, first can, me under the car with a plastic guard over my head. Hisssssssssss! green goo falling on the ground, get buddy to turn off coolant application, replace hose which attaches to bottom of compressor up to beside the rad there. That's the first place to rust (the stupid wrap around washer thing that bolts the hose to the compressor to stop from rattling rusts, contacts the hose, and rusts it too, causing a small pin sized hole, seen it a ton) - $15 for the duracool can, $25 for the hose at a wrecker, badda bing, $40 ac fix.

IF that is your problem, I can send you an extra hose I pressure tested for well beyond the typical 22psi ac stuff handles, just pay shipping and toss me an extra $10 for the time.

based on the fact that u seem sure its not a freon leak u r having then this answer is the best so far

Ok, unplug the one wire going to the compressor and see if the test light illuminates when the switch is activated. If it does not, then the problem may be the wiring or relay. If it does then its probably a bad or dirty connection or a bad clutch.
