Lost without direction
Ok so here it is I have been building my nx2000 all winter and summer finally got the motor build done and installed now it on to the wiring. I have a factory harness from the nx with everything including the interior harness. I want to just take my factory ecu wiring and mod it to be the only harness in the car. What I want to do basically have three wires coming out of the ecu harness ground power and fuel any suggestions or how too's? Basically a factory stand alone. This car is a race car so no other wiring is need the only wiring that is needed it to run the engine as I will run separate wiring for fans ect... I have used the search tool and looked for countless hours on google ect... Only thing I have found is for a rwd sr det. Any help out there?

how about just unwrap the harness and remove everything you dont need...that seems to be what I have seen others do in the past.

I rather get rid of all that in used weight and save space to simplfly everything here is a link I found S13 SR20DET to Datsun Wiring Harness | Wiring Specialties but its for a s13 not a b13 platform it has coils a igniter ect I am obd 1

Not sure what you are after exactly.
Where is the weight you are concerned about?
The only thing left will be the wires and plugs you need, the rest gets thrown away, and you rewrap the harness with tape .
....I guess I am missing something, because that is what the link you posted is basically a harness with the unneeded wires gone.

I have to assume that you just dont want to do the work, you want to buy something plug and play.
...I tried,LOL

No I have no problem doing the work deff. Not lazy i just can't justify spending 400 or more on a harness when I have a stock harness I can utilize. Basically the only way it will work now is with all the wiring from the whole car tons of relays fuses headlight wiring all the unused stuff on a race car. I need guidance and wanted to see if anyone else has tryed this or has successfully done it and could share there knowledge on how they did it.

Also the factory ecu harness runs to the cluster harness feeding power ground ect as well as running the ECCS relay what I want is a block with a few fuses and relays controlling the ecu and that's it.

You will need multiple wires from the factory harness like Injector,Coil, tps, coolant, MAF etc. All the basic sensors to make the engine run cuz it will need this signals to run the car. As Eggman said just delete everything buy unpinning your harness

Here is what I have found so far http://lh4.ggpht.com/datsunlb110/Rj9PmKsoDTI/AAAAAAAAAPI/BlYjXwTefds/s800/s13+wiring+diagram+pic+file.jpg

Not sure how diffrent a s13 harness is from a b14 harness so the wiring colors may not be the same. Also I have obd1 or not sure.
