Z32/DE MAF hybrid? Ya think?
I just had to replace my n62 MAF. In tinkering with the burnt out one, I completely destroyed the electronics board. Then I dug out my old original DE MAF and had an idea.....modify the n62 housing to incorporate the DE sensor. It'd obviously then be a 3 wire opposed to a 4 wire....but you think this would work? Has anyone ever tried this?

Is it strictly the inner diameter of the housing which determined boost/WHP capacity? Or also the sensor itself?

Cool. Well if I ever get around to it myself I'll let you know. Just gotta source me a 3 wire from a junkyard or somewhere.

Haha Scrildo, I got a new MAF today from a buddy who upped to speed density. Unfortunately now my alternator has decided to quit, SMH! Fix one break another all in one day!

But like I said in my other thread, ima save up for that sweet piece in the future ;-)

This hybrid crap was just a tinkering idea I had :-)
