b14 alarm install help!!!
I bought a autopage RF-425 alarm and tried to install it on friday... It didn't go as planned... LOL I have a lot of experience with car audio and electrical wiring so I figured it couldn't be hard... I followed 2 wiring diagrams to get everything hooked up right but for one, the alarm keeps telling me my door is open when I set it... 2, the unlock / lock feature doesn't work....

This is the 200sx wiring diagram that I found
1995 -1998*Nissan*200sx*Vehicle Wiring Chart and Diagram

and this is the autopage alarm wiring diagram
http://www.autopageusa.com/resources/RF425INSTALLmanual.pdf

I'm 100% sure I installed it all correctly.. I even pulled the door switch out to make sure it was the right one and I also pulled the lock switch to make sure it was the right wire as well... Any help?

The way I installed the unlock was the 3 wire positive version..

sounds like you have the door lock relay wired wrong. To test apply ground to the correct factory wire. test the lock and door switch to figure n/o or n/c. iirc this car has a vss module and if it does you must get the door lock wires off the vss module. if it has one its under the steering wheel near the center console.

What would the vss module look like?

Door lock needs a negative pulse to activate, you dont need the 3 wire setup. The door trigger is also negative. Did you check your wires with a meter before connecting?

so how would I hook it up, what wire to what wire by looking at the diagram? I got confused with the whole 3 wire, 5 wire thing
