SE-R Stock Speaker HELp
First, i'm real new to forums so i apologize in advance for any etiquette i may break.

Now, i just got a 2010 Nissan Sentra SE-R and am really disappointed in the Rockford Fosgate "premium" audio system that came w/ it. Could any and all guide me? The system consists of Two Dash tweeters, front door speakers that are labled 6x9s, but according to crutchfield rep are real limited (and prob. need to go down in size) in door depth, and two rear deck 8 in sub woofers, powered by a factory Rockford amp mounted under passenger seat. Looked good on paper, but in reality it's completely SOFT!

I listen to mostly loud angry music w/ a little Howard Stern & NFL games mixed in.

I have put an old Bazooka 10in powered basstube in and it's help a little but i want more...

Looking forward to hearing from you all - Thanks!

You may wanna try posting on B15sentra.net - Nissan Sentra Forum as well. I know there's a large contingency of b16/b16 people over there that maybe able to help.

Making any stock system better can be done fairly easily. The most downfalls i see are the deck and amp. If you replace both you will not only have more power available, but cleaner power and more adjustment to get it to sound how you like. In my experience the stock speakers coming in cars now are pretty good. Put a good 50-74Wx4 in there with high pass for the front and bandpass x-over for the rear. Depending on how the stock tweeters are wired you might have to get a passive x-over for protection. You could also get a 5 channel and power the sub of your choice if the bazooka tube is not enough.
