the stock 5 1/4 uses a large trim ring. when you remove the stock speaker you will see a 6 1/2 fits and with a little trimming a 6 3/4 fits as well. the only issue is mounting depth. The window track is right behind the front door speaker location.

you can put a 6 1/2 in but beware of the mounting depth. the trunk rods will hit the magnet on the speaker if its too deep.

LOL. I just worked in car audio for way too long. Next I will teach every one how to properly iso mount a head unit in a nissan so you don't have a gap between the head unit and the trim panel.

I have a trick that requires no special tools or mounting hardware. It works on all nissans.
