You need to contact Japanese Classics, LLC in VA. I am working with them to get a R32 GT-R here for a customer and they have been great to deal with.

Japanese Classics, LLC in Virginia or Rivsu in FL.
Both only deal with importing legally anything 25 years old from Japan.

Worse, from what I've been told. Car would have to be certified by Nissan Mexico to meet Mexican "DOT" standards. i.e. It'd cost you the same as just bringing it here.

Now if you were to import it as a race car, for race use only, and then go to Michoacan(easiest state to pass inspection in as they essentially just check that the car can accelerate and stop safely, no emissions or any safety) and have it passed as a road car and then keep your mexican tags in the states for a bit then yes it's a ton easier.

Still not legal. Do it right or don't do it all. There is no cheap way around this.

1990 Nissan Pulsar GTi-R "RA" - Japanese Classics

Companies like this are starting to bring these over with the 25 yo rules, as also stated above. Not sure I would drop nearly $12k for one even though I love these cars. This is just your regular RA version...

^^^That car shouldn't have commanded that much money. Look at the Kms and also the condition of the steering wheel. There seem to be some Nismo parts on it but still I wouldn't have paid that much money for one.

^^^ Totally agree with you. But seems to be the normal price from these importers. Here is another that is pending sale after like a week on the site. In better shape and only 106xxx km, but asking almost $13k!
