clutch won't disengage
Car is a 99 G20 with 196k miles on it. I'm currently running a exedy stage 1 racing clutch with about 60k miles on it.

My car will not go into gear in the morning. I can shift fine with the car off but not when it's running. If I start the car in gear it will lunge a bit. If I have it in gear with my foot all the way down the car will start to move. After driving 10 minutes or so the car is pretty much fine. I can shift with one finger.

My clutch pedal feels a little soft but it definately has some resistance. The resistance and the point at which the clutch catches varies through out the day. I just swapped out the fluid and put in fresh mt90. I just flushed the nasty dark hydrolic fluid and bleed the system. The new clear DOT3 turned nasty in about 1 day. I have adjusted the push rod on the clutch pedal all the way so I could get the longest throw on the slave. The slave creaks and squeeks alot but the piston is moving. It only move about and inch though. Don't know if that is enough or not. I tried moving the pivot arm with a breaker bar to see if maybe the slave wasn't pushing far enough but I couldn't get the dam thing to budge? That slave must be pretty strong. After adjusting the push rod on the master so that I could get it into gear I now get this metallic scraping noise when my foot is on the clutch. I can only assume it's the TOB. There is no strange noises from the trans other then this. It only happens when the clutch is pressed in. Otherwise its very quiet.

The problem progressed rather quickly like over a month or so. It was not a sudden thing though.

Here is some vids of the slave and the pivot arm.

Did the t/o bearing get installed backwards? I did that(oops) once and it made a horrid grinding noise when you pushed the clutch pedal in. Could also be a broken finger on the pressure plate.

The clutch has been in for 60k miles so I'm assuming nothing was installed backwards. This problem is fairly recent.

I guess a PP finger could be broken. Wouldn't this make the problem happen all the time though? My problem is only in the morning. After about two minutes of a stuck clutch and not being able to get it into gear it drives and shifts perfectly fine?
