Does anyone know about a Nissan engine when you lift your foot from the pedal, the enginr can go like boink! at times?

My stock B14 did this. My new-to-me stock P10 does it. I never knew why, but it is something in the ECU I believe because a JWT ECU fixed it in my B14. And NEMU/Nismotronic fixed it in my B13.

That is interesting Kyle, I reasoned that the chance to have two bad ecu's is slim but maybe that is so. Tomorrow I will Datascan my other Nissan and post logs, one of them for sure is surprising.

I do not believe the ECU is bad, I think something that happens in the car from the factory programming but I am an ECU noob.

Me too, I know somewhat what figures it read and what comes out but what that little malefactor is doing, it is a black box to me.

But on the bright side, I do have awkward readings compared with another 26 years old Nissan Ga16DE.

Ga16DE, 0.4 seconds of running engine

Sr20DE, 0.4 seconds of running engine

I hope someone can tell me why those two logs don't look like eachother.

Here is a I believe good record of awkwardness for a MAF reading, 22 volts. TPS seems to initiate but not as much and also not always. I lack the electronics knowledge to understand what has been going on here but my gut tells me this is my engine boink! problem and that ecu is in need of soldering or tries to die on me for ten years in a row. I can laugh, but not loudly, I do own another stock ecu with correct part number but it is not within my reach at the moment.

Here is a 2014 record, hard to read, but I believe in rinse and repeat
