LOL. to someone who has never done it before, that's funny. I've done it about 4 times myself and I need light and it takes a lot longer than 5 min.

I can one up you on that.

I took out my driver's seat.

I took out my steering wheel.

And I removed the one plastic shroud, and it still took me wayyyy too long. If it wasn't for that clutch cable design and 5th gear pop-out, I would think the B13 was the greatest car ever made pound for pound, lol.

lol, it can take some time the first time, but after a while you get the hang of it

Just like anything I suppose.

I'll also say, that if the clutch cable snaps in half -- it makes it actually easier! In other words, if you ever have a cable snap on you, it's even easier to take out. Same to put in of course lol

I pulled my broken clutch cable out today and it was actually the housing on the pedal side that broke and the metal wrap that protects the cable was protruding from the sleeve. I'll post a picture tomorrow....big brother won't let me post pictures on a work computer.

The new one made all the difference in the world. Was able to get my hand up the left side of the pedal mechanism and hook on new cable.

Man, I'll tell you what, I was so used to the old cable hanging up and being so hard to depress, that when I put the new one in I thought I broke something else because it took literally no effort to depress the clutch. Clutch engages after about and 1 1/2 of play so I say that's a decent adjustment....just love how it shifts now....(((GRIN)))
