You're reading it wrong. That's the maximum weight your car can weigh fully loaded.

The curb weight should be 2400lbs.

Damn. So those smog guys are fucking up. Can that affect a smog test? Testing the car at the wrong vehicle weight?

Yeah, I think they're screwing up. I just checked my last smog test on my B14 and it listed the weight as 2625 which sounds about right. I don't know how the vehicle weight comes into play with the rollers during the test if there's any type of resistence or what not. But I would bring it to their attention because either way it's wrong....it's off by nearly 400lbs!
As a comparison, my P10 test weight is 3125....you definitely tell the difference when driving the two. lol.

All of these past emissions test print outs I have say 3000.

What do you mean? Paying a guy to pass my car? My results are not that bad. I think i'll pass when I take the re test. i'm just glad i'm not a gross polluter. now that would really suck.
