Its a really long wire and i know it runs over to the driver side but im not sure where i normally plugged it into. God i love getting shells

if it was hanging behind the tranny its unused my 94 se-r and 93 i just got have that same wire but goes nowhere.. so ignore it..

id say either neutral safty switch or reverse lights

get a pic of it straight on its hard to see exactly what the connection is

That looks like the cruise control plug....I think that's what that is. The horn has a similar plug...and there a random plug laying around that also looks like that.

not a 5th gear, neutral or reverse or a crank, those plugs are bigger. its not a knock sensor plug the knock sensor plug is a 2 wire with a safety clip then goes up to the injector harness and becomes a 1 wire setup.. i might be a cruise control thing cuz none of mine have it and they were just hanging full of grease and oil dirt ect.. theres another one just like it on the passenger side taped where the alternator harness plugs into on the passenger side fender..

dont worry much about it youll be fine..
