a 240sx would be a upgrade to me. I honestly don't know how dumb you are to not understand that just because you consider it to not be a upgrade to you, it wouldn't be to me. My car has a fucked up trunk that you have to hold the lever while you open it, a fucked up door that doesn't shut all the way, broken studs / screws, 3 gears and thats just the main things..

You keep on insisting that I'm saying my car is a POS because its a sentra. I'm saying my car is a POS and has been since I got it. I would love to have another sentra that had a strait body and modded by someone that didn't just ziptie wires and twist wires with electrical tape covering it or cutting a hole in so you can add your own nut.

You're still here? I thought you were done with the SR20 game four (4) days ago when you started this thread?

You bought your "rigged" and trailer-park engineered Sentra. Therefore you could easily buy another rigged S-chassis vehicle.

The platform of the 240 (S-whatever chassis) is no better than the B13 platform. No upgrade. Slightly more expensive when new, and not by much.

The trunk will be a bitch to fix due to the latch held in with screws instead of welded on (the bottom piece of the trunk, not on the trunk) and around the door is all bondo'd up which is why it doesn't shut right. I haven't done much work myself when it comes to fixing body damage but it wouldn't be as simple as another door to fix it. The door is fine, its the body thats messed up. Those are the 2 things that would be hardest to fix but other than that I have all the parts to fix everything already besides the transmission. I have brand new ball joints, cross member bushings, SE-R brake upgrade (guy did the ga swap) a extra stud, all I need to fix it to have it running right is the transmission but having this as a DD it all gets overwhelming when you have to have your car down for a few days and you have to go @ it until its fixed sleeping 4-5 hours a day. I just changed the clutch and it took 3 days due to a bunch of bs popping up.

So what are you going to do? Ditch the car? Follow through and fix the damn thing? YOU quit four (4) days ago, then blame us in the last 24-hours for YOU leaving?

Overwhelming I can understand. My SE-R was my daily, and only vehicle, for over 15-years. Never liked walking much.

You're young, you can sleep when you are old. At one point I worked two (2) full-time jobs for about 18-months.

That Protege ain't gettin' on the road any easier than your POS Sentra. Tranny swap or tranny swap. It might not have the number of other issues, but it sure as hell won't be any fun either Mr. Chirping tires into third gear.

I have a two adult owner '92 hardtop with 113k on it. JWT ECU, vintage Stillen short shifter, vintage Stillen strut brace, vintage Borla SS muffler.
