you can always get a level 10 auto trans...

Now before you get a wrong impression, not ALL Nissan trans are bad... Z32 is the only one that had an Auto trans that was faster then a manual.

CVT is good but doesn't hold too much power.

What about swapping in a SR20VE complete with the CVT transmission?

Yeah ShawnB. your right i am thinking of going manual, I think about it everyday to do it but i have to see what my family says due to a family of 6 of us with only 2 cars and me and my dad only know how to drive stick since he taught me(but he can no lnger drive after having 2 seizures behind the wheel) and i cant play taxi driver for the family when my car is the only avaible and trying not to have my sis get near my baby again as well lol but doing such thing will make me better at drivng stick and yes I do live in miami so i will call this guy thank you guys on this forum for mentioning him to me, so mostly likely i am going manual

BTW idk if you noticed I posted pics of my car on the 3rd page if you would like to see what i am dealing with and if you want me to take pics of certain areas of the car just let me know and I will post those up

Wait, it sounds like you really need this car as a daily for not just your but your family. Why on earth are you even thinking about modding it?

Once you start modding it majorly, expect it to be down a lot. Unless you do it 100% right the first time, which can be hard to do. Still your sticking a bigger powerblock into a car that wasn't meant for it.

Buy a car for yourself first, then mod it.

i wonder if anyone has actually done it yet. my thought is how do you get the cvt to work with the b14 ecu? it would become a wiring nightmare trying to figure out how to use the n15 ecu to work with b14 components with the trans. as your going into the unknown, as thats the only ecu that HAS the cvt in it for the motor.

I agree on the getting a 2nd car and take the 'took apart' road + the wtf and possibly a camera + a shelter to keep you out of trouble and weather problems + posting on this forum = win.
