check for leaks in the intake before and after the maf sensor. i have a feeling you are losing meterd air.

so i had chris check out my car again but this time i was lucky enough to have him plug up his lap top and work his magic, his computer came up showing Bad knock sensor and bad cooalnt temp sensor. if i understood him correctly he basically said since the sensor might be bad the ecu thinks the car is over heating which keeps the fan on constant and puts the car onto ""Limp mode""

one problem though.we went to switch out the knock sensor and it seemed to not fix the problem (the computer kept showing bad knock sensor)

i got a hold of a new harness which i plan on putting on sunday and getting a new sensor hopefully this clears up the problem

changed the coolant temp sensor and still no luck i ran out of ideas....lets say the tps is set at .56(which it is) i know it should be at like .44ish ...would this have anything to do with the hesitation?

have you tried a different MAF?

TPS setting should be between .45 and .55 volts. If yours is at .56v, then its too high. I try to set mine around 47-48v.

Also do the same test with the throttle plate all the way open (WOT). It should be 4.0v
If its not close, you may have a bad TPS.

Forget about the tps for now Martin. You're car isn't going to run properly until the coolant and knock sensor codes are cleared, and since we swapped both of them out at my house and they're still failing, my advice remains.... swap out the harness and take it from there.
