im working on right now matter fact, ill post pics once the motor is fully bolted in, Thats the hardest part of the whole thing, then its just some wiring and other minor stuff.

S13 motor into a honda s2000 btw. First ever recorded from what ive researched.

I dont want to hear a why would you do that either, haha There is a legitimate reason for the swap besides the fact that the customer wants something different. There was other reasons leading up to the swap.

Why is that? I know i would never do it. But the motor that was in it was overheated to hell because he ran it with a cracked radiator for God knows how long, then a failed tensioner after replacing the headgasket took out some valves and bent a cam. Another mechanic that was working on it went to put it all back together all to realize the cam caps got messed up pretty bad and will require line boring. So yeah needless to say it was pointless and has been a miserable trip the last year for this car.

I know the S2k motor is such a smooth high reving awesome motor but in essentially the Sr20 will provide more torque and power with simple boltons and actually make the car faster and plus it will have a unique factor behind it.

But on a good note the customer traded straight across for the s2k setup for the s13 setup and the s2k motor is getting completely rebuilt and the head machined and is going in his AE86 corolla. So the motor will definetly see better day in a beautifully setup AE86.

Many pics to come. Just waiting for it to cool down some so we can get some work done.

post pix of both cars when done. To me it ruins the car as a whole. The s2k is an awesome all around car and when you take one of the key components out for something completely different it doesn't seem right. The s2k motor out performs the s13 SR without the power adder that the sr has, so in my mind this is a down grade. Needless to say i cant wait to see both the cars.
