I agree. I just have the iacv hose capped off and the fitting deleted on the ic piping. So far it wont stay running at all in the morning when its cold. Its a pita, i have to sit in the car until the car warms up slightly. Which is usally when the needle reaches the very bottom of the c on the stock water temp gauge. It also like to run very rich when its cold like 10:1 air fuel, but that may just be in the jwt ecu. Also the idle like to jump up and down a small amount. But i still have to set my timing and some of these problems may go away.

I'm gonna attempt pinching my hose off and disconnecting my iac valve to see how it runs. i'd much rather have to open the throttle until my car warms up than have it stalling/idle surging. drives me insane! good work guys...

once you block the intake mani where the IACV goes, what about the hose that leads to your intake/IC pipe..does that need to be disconnected and plugged. or can you leave that connected?

block the spot on the intake, remove the hose crap, plug the hole on the intake pipe..

First person to e-mail or PM me a scan of the IACV gasket or IACV base itself with at least 2 dimensions so I can scale it will get a free IACV block off plate CNC cut out of 1/8 aluminum.

I am definatly doing this. Has anybody just deleted the ARV and left the IACV on? I may have missed that somewhere in the thread.
