Since reading this article I spent the entire day building my own engine from random things I found in my desk drawers. It consists of foam ear plugs, a Canon ink roller for an adding machine, a bottle opener/keyring, a promotional drink coaster, 47 staples, a plastic core from a roll of Scotch tape and an old 3.5" floppy disc. It is powered by a rubber band, emits zero emissions, cranks out upwards of 1000 horsepower and fits in the palm of my hand.

Oh, I haven't dyno'd it yet but I'm pretty sure it'll do 1000 HP.

What concept? There is absolutely nothing new stated stated or shown about this engine I can see? Just curious what the hype is? Try taking a look at a CBR600RR engine...and explain what is better/new about this one? (not trying to be a dick btw).

Kind of hard compare with the lack of details. But if we can agree that the CBR engine is of similar size and weight and only a fraction of the claimed HP. Imagining one of these in a CBR would be insane.

Hopefully they do some good with it...

Please see the video I linked to of a CBR1000RR on 8lbs making 266WHP. We will estimate to 275CHP. That would make a conservative 412CHP out of a 1.5L....on a street engine with millions of prooven miles behind it. Boom. Are you all amazed? Don't fall off the bandwagon.

Edit: Sorry I'll stop posting this sh*t and wait for Nissan to tell us some info. I get grumpy on my diet!
