Thread: New Car... Help me decide ( G35 Sedan 6mt V36 or 335i 6mt )

Damn! Well 335s are pretty damn fast when chipped. Man choices.. I have time not in a rush as I can drive the sentra which runs fine besides this idle issue im still working on. Thinking TPS issue because im getting some wierd throttle issues too with it sticking and its not the cable.

^does the throttle plate stick if you operate it by hand? I'd ask if the TB were all gummed up, but knowing you, you gave it a thorough cleaning when you re-installed the engine.

Yeah Chris, Everything is spotless... Its the weirdest thing, Its gotta be TPS or IACV but i would think the IACV was good when the motor was pulled and the TPS was bought used. It sticks randomly when driving and its not physically sticking its gotta be something with the TPS which also I think can affect idle. ( Havent thrown a ton of time diagnosing ) i will soon when im not working so much.

I'd get a G37. They gave my dad one for a loaner, that shit was fast. But I'm a little biased, the only 3 series I really care for are E30's.

e30s aged well. the other 3 series cars didnt. youll still find some really clean examples of some well taken care of ones, but for the most part they go to shit.
