Not sure why you went the way you did either but as long as the car is fixed, that is all that matters. As long as you are happy, that is all that matters. I would keep the se-r rims if it were me but I do understand that you could recoup half of your money back. Tires make one of the biggest differences in ride quality of the vehicle. Those snow tires were probably hurting your gas mileage as well. I have no idea how you drove with studded snows that long and kept your sanity. I would have junked those a long long time ago. They are so loud and obnoxious that I would never run studded snows where I live. Maybe in Alaska but regular snows are just fine for the snow we get here. Any questions you have in the future about basic vehicle maintenance I will be glad to help you out with. It is my job and I don't mind helping out forum members at all, even after 12 hr days.

Thanks everyone. I went with the rims because I honestly wanted to change things a little. I was getting tired of the same old look on my car. I had thought about just sanding my stocks and getting them painted bronze but it would have cost more than I was looking to spend right now. I may still do that and put them back on when these tires wear down, haven't decided yet. I appreciate all the help.

Also, lite-7 are lightweight rims. the rim/tire combo is MUCH lighter than my stocks were. I don't know what actual difference is, but hand in hand it was a major difference.
