I figured as much.

I just got done changing my trans oil. MT-90 is hard to find locally. Got lucky and found some not too far away from me.

I stripped mine too, welded new stuff, still can't break it loose. I just now use the speedo sensor hole .

Ha, Thanks. I'll have go back out tomorrow and check it out. I got it off a year or two ago, but this time it just wasn't having it.

My mistake was that I didn't heat it up with a torch first

Is that blue sealant stuff better than the white high temp stuff? When I changed my trans oil a few months back, I used the permatex high temp thread sealer. Now I have a slight leak, more like a drip coming from the drain plug. Should I switch to the blue stuff? I read that you are suppose to wait 24 hours before you fill with oil again. I didn't do that and filled up right away. Man I hate leaky cars.

I've never sealed the plug. It's never leaked.
