I think the stock VE pump is ready for whatever you're going to ask of it. I don't think 9,500 PRM is a problem for it, but then again, I guess I don't know. I can't say I've ever heard of someone needing to upgrade an oil pump to deal with higher revs.

As for the rods, I'm not sure. I'd think they would be torque limited, just like most things are, provided you're not detonating. So, what does Eagle say their torque limit is? If I had to guess, I'd say it's probably somewhere around 175-200 ft-lbs per rod. So maybe 700-800 ft-lbs of torque on a 4-cylinder. But that's just a guess.

Eagle rated the rods with arp 2000 to 900hp @ 9000 rpm. I have seen a few guys make 800-900hp on them, but everyone I spoke to on the issue said the ap2000 rod bolts are the issue and not the rod itself. I just dont want to throw another rod through the block again. But i remember ashton pulling 9800 rpm with heavier crower I beam rods with the same arp2000s. Maybe I am worrying unnecessarily. 9500 and 35psi is where I want to finish. Contemplating buying some l19s rod bolts and some bearings as cheap insurance for next year and changing them out the bottom.
