Will the FIC allow you to defeat the sad 6750 rpm limit of the stock RR ECU?

Nope, if you want a higher redline you will need to convert to a JWT/Nistune/Nismotronic or standalone ecu.

I would love to see the most one of these trannies will hold. Almost all of my friends with 240sx's switched to chevy automatics for the track and love it. There was a automatic eclipse at the world cup finals and that thing was running 8s.

Nice build, but did you really connect the crankcase ventilation to the charge pipe?

That my friend is a big mistake. You are putting the crankcase under some serious overboost if you have it connected like that. Piston rings will suffer.

Our 97 GLE was A/T from Level 10 - Guaranteed to hold 500hp & 500 ft/lb TQ. The first one lasted less than 500 miles, the second one lasted less than a 1,000 miles. Level 10 would not honor their Guaranty so I decided to ditch the A/T and converted to a P11 LSD M/T Box and no failures since. Was only boosting 7 PSI @ the time too.

A/T Boost is a blast - Enjoy the ride while it lasts.

Nice save on the car too

Will your EGR system readiness monitor complete? I have always wondered if it was possible to have functioning EGR on a turbo system. I guess it should flow under the testing conditions, IE part throttle cruise, low intake pressure?

Edit:
I have to comply with a yearly OBD2 emissions inspection. So far, the easiest way to meet the SRT requirements is to leave the systems functional.
What you have done here gives me hope that a turbo setup is doable under my circumstances.

Yeah, it functions normally. It's piped in exactly where it goes in on the old factory non-turbo manifold. Done it on 2x 99's and this 2002 32bit and works just fine with no codes.

@ Dala, I don't know why I hooked that up... Think I was just hooking up everything like the factory air box. Must have been a late night when I did that. I came out one morning and saw it and thought "That's not a good idea" It was never run that way.

I have heard a few horror stories about them. How much HP were you putting down before the trannys blew up? It would be cool to know what kinda of setup you were running.
