Looks like it could easily be turned into a nice forward facing manifold by simply putting the flange straight inline with the collector and moving the wastegate flange down to the collector at the merge but definitely doesnt look like the hood will shut with the compressor up that high. My turbo sat up pretty high but was back closer to the motor and i still had to notch the webbing out to clear it.

Manifold looks pretty good, but the flange is just terrible. A new flange is $100 and the work to have it cut off and redone would be around $200 or so.

That is a lot of money to spend on a $1600 piece.

That sucks, but it is always good to share your experience, regardless of what the haters may say. Lucky for you, others have had the same experience.

Well, with the loss of future prospects imminent, he may have some free time coming up

I sold it to corrie, the hood did close but with quite a bit of effort...sernewbie is buying the SST top mount and that thing fit great without issue and the pretty big t3/67 ho fit great...I have original sidewinder now and the only issue with that is my compressor housing is too big

Ye it really sucks that i had to do this i posted it up and a few other forums and his facebook page to see if i get his attention and the manifold wont fit and in all honesty when your spending alot of money on a manifold ur not suppose to get it and then have to fix it your self why should i have to spend another $200 on something i paid to be done right all, his lesson in all this is dont fuck ppl around you never know who your fucking with. If he loses business because of this itll be a lesson learned

Any estimates on how many forum members got this kind of treatment? I'm highly considering adding him to the blacklist...

Not the same guy I used to know at all if this is all true. I haven't seen him in about 4 years. I think his issue is all of those were prototyped on my old B13 and I had the radiator tilted forward, however I was able to run them without doing that also. I think his jig is off and he doesn't have a car to line things back up on.

Did he know at the time about your radiator being tilted? If not that would defiantly explain where the guy went wrong. An expensive mistake but not a reprehensible one.
