Year 3 no cold idle, checklist help PLEASE!
6-15-2013---> VICTORY!!! Case closed :-)

6-5-2013----> still got nothing :-/

6-12-2012---> I see and understand this thread is growing in length, that's because of the numerous upon numerous attempts and trials with errors. PLEASE, read the thread before posting and asking the same question that im sure has been answered. I still have this issue, I'm still open to suggestions, I need a freakin miracle I think. Regardless, BIG THANK YOU to everyone who has posted here over the years in attempt to help me. I GREATLY APPRECIATE your effort!!! Much love to the sr20forum community!!!

5-18-2011---> original post: My motor has not idled cold since I completed my build and swapped. I've tried a few things, partially half assing, to conserve money. I'd really like to make this year the year I don't have to hold my foot on the throttle till the motor warms up for her to idle. I've searched and posted in the past, I guess I'm just looking for a fresh start to my haunting problem.

T25, s4's, fmic, z32 maf, tail 38mm, 555's, walbro, avenir block/usdm head (long story), 8.5:1, fidanza, realtime, ummm...that's it? Lol!

Coolant temp sensor is hooked up, cleaned the IACV Tuesday, she runs slightly rich for now till another tune with my buddy. I've tried bumping the crap out of the cold enrichment setting, bumped the cold timing, new coolant temp sensor, re-grounded, checked for vac leaks.

There was one day only it ever idled with a cold motor. That's when after research I learned and corrected a vacuum line I had originally plugged on the intake manifold to the intake after the maf. I welded a bung to the intake pipe and ran a line. Every day before and after that, nothing.

In realtime while monitoring, the IACV is at 18% with a warm motor and idle. When clicking the "one touch" idle adjust button there is no affect. The idle doesn't drop so as to go into idle adjust/timing mode. When adjust the idle screw, no affect.

I replaced the avenir "Jdm" coolant temp sensor with a usdm part out of the junkyard.

She does seem to run lean on start up @ 14.0+ on the uego. Once she warms up and idle is stable she bounces around 12-12.5. Yes, slightly rich.

Ect sensor?

In trying more unsuccessful tuning adjustments, exhausting all combos and possibilities there, in reference to the 18% IACV while idling warm...she is at 90%+ while cold. Dunno if this means anything and will help you help me. Thanks y'all!

Again, what's an aac? Better yet, where is it? I built the motor over a 3 year period of time installing it 3 years ago. This is my hobby not my life, I don't recall everything like some people.
